Fictionally in Love
Co-host/Co-Creator
May 2024- Feb 2025
After discovering our love for romance, my friend and I created a podcast dedicated to romance books. With my co-host, I help produce and edit high-quality audio content using Reaper. I research, script, and develop compelling monthly discussion topics to maintain audience engagement and relevance. I also help cultivate and manage content for social media platforms, particularly Instagram, to craft informative and captivating posts to enhance podcast visibility and engagement.
You can find our podcast on Spotify or Apple Podcasts.
90.5 WESA
Show Production Assistant
Aug 2022- May 2023

Last fall, I joined The Confluence, the public daily news show in Pittsburgh, Pa., as a production assistant. With this team, I regularly researched background information for show segments and guests, edited tape for broadcast using Adobe Audition, helped script interviews for the host, write web rundowns for each show, and helped produce the live-on-air show by regularly running the soundboard.
Two stories that I pitched, did the interview for and produced were about CHATGPT and its influence on academic institutions and Bright Sky, the first multinational app that provides resources for those facing domestic violence across the country.

The Click
Reporter
Sep 2021- May 2023
As I was a graduate student in NYU's journalism program living in Pittsburgh, I pitched many story ideas related to the Pittsburgh area. I prepared for my stories by scheduling interviews, creating questions for interviewees, researching information, and fact-checking for anything related to my articles. One of my favorite stories was profiling how COVID-19 impacted a local small business.

United By Pop
Content Writer
Feb 2022- Feb 2023
I was a content writer for United By Pop, a pop culture website that focuses on pop culture scenes in both the United States and the United Kingdom. I pitched stories weekly, wrote one to two articles per week, and promoted my articles by creating social media posts for Twitter. I cover anything from Marvel to the latest trending pop song.

Beck Media & Marketing

Jan 2020- May 2020
In 2020, I joined this PR entertainment firm as a communications assistant. I would update and compile multiple media contact lists using Muck Rack and Cision, draft press releases, create clip reports and monitor press coverage for clients such as NBC, Facebook Watch, and Netflix.
